Reasi Launches 100-Day ‘Nasha Mukta Abhiyan’ with Massive Padyatra

Reasi, April 11: In a strong step towards combating drug abuse, the Reasi District Administration in collaboration with the Police on Saturday kickstarted the 100-day Nasha Mukta Abhiyan with a large-scale padyatra.The event was led by SSP Reasi Mukund Tibrewal, ASP Iftkaar Ahmed, DSP Vishal Singh, DC Reasi Kumar Abhishek, and MLA Reasi Kuldeep Raj Dubey, whose presence reflected strong administrative and political will against drug

abuse.The padyatra witnessed massive participation from all sections of society, with a large number of students from various schools and colleges actively taking part in the awareness drive.Participants marched through key areas of the town, spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drug addiction and the need for collective action. A pledge was also administered to make Jammu & Kashmir drug-free and to ensure active public participation in the campaign.Officials emphasized that the 100-day campaign will focus on awareness, community engagement, and strict enforcement against drug-related activities, urging citizens to join hands in building a safer and healthier society.
